Niki is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a registered and trauma-informed yoga teacher. She was drawn to study yoga in grad school when she realized how educational spaces in our culture encourage us to disconnect our brains from our bodies and she was drawn to study massage therapy when too many long hours at a desk in her life as a professor led to more painful and frustrating injuries than any she had sustained from her otherwise active lifestyle. She’s found, over the years, that curiosity is the best defense against the fear pain can cause. In her own health journey, she values the combination of having a skilled and trusted bodywork practitioner alongside her own consistent and exploratory embodied practices. She aims to help her clients find this balance for themselves.
Niki firmly believes that when we listen to our bodies with compassion and curiosity, we unlock the potential for deep healing and vitality—creating a ripple effect that extends into the world around us. Niki’s mission is to help you cultivate a sense of connection with- and ease in- your body. During a session with her, you can expect her to listen closely to your unique needs and craft a therapeutic plan tailored specifically to addressing the root causes of the dysfunction you’re experiencing. Her holistic approach ensures you don’t just find relief on the table, but you leave with a renewed energy to continue your self-care off the table so you can show up in the world in the ways that matter most to you.
